03 — Method
- Beat the soft butter with the powdered sugar and vanilla until light.
- Beat in the egg whites one at a time, then the sifted flour.
- Pipe short strips onto a lined sheet with a plain tip.
- Space them well — they spread.
- Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 8 minutes until golden at the edges.
- Lift off while warm and cool on a rack.
